Soccer Star

This past weekend marked the start of our first soccer season! It will most likely be the beginning of at least a 13-year journey, if Jace is anything like his dad! We had practice last week and our first game on Saturday. There are 8 kids on his team...4 girls and 4 boys, and Josh is the coach. Jacer did great...if you ask him how it went, he'll say, "I scored the thirst goal!!" (He's having a little trouble distinguishing between "f" and "th" sounds!) He did, in fact, score the first goal right off the kickoff. They don't keep score, but they all did really well for being the first game any of them have ever played! Mimi, Pop, Jer, Lauren, Mom, and Morgan were all there and posed as Jace's personal cheering section. Oh what fun our lives are beginning to be! I love being a soccer mom!!!
