Thanksgiving 2009

We traveled to Houston for Thanksgiving this year. We go every year for Thanksgiving so that we can stay home for Christmas. We drove to New Braunfels on Friday night and prolonged our dinner so we could make a late-night run to Chick-fil-A as we came into San Antonio! It was heaven. We spent all day Saturday shopping at San Marcos Outlets. It was crowded but well worth it! We then drove to Houston...the best part was seeing Morgan after a week and a half without her home! She had a wonderful time in Houston with Nana, Papaw, and Nanny. However, we missed her terribly. Her face lit up when she saw her "Bubby". They are the best of friends and really missed each other. We then had a wonderful holiday spent shopping, eating, watching movies, and just hanging out. We are so thankful for our families, our health, and most of all, our Jesus who so graciously gives it all to us!

We capped off our week by driving to Dallas to attend the Baylor/Texas Tech game at the new Cowboys Stadium. Words cannot describe how big this place is! We can officially say now that we have watched a football game, in a stadium, in the comfort of leather seats! It was awesome. And, it made it all the better that the Bears actually SHOWED UP and PLAYED!! We were ahead for most of the game. However, it wouldn't be a true Baylor game if they didn't give up the lead and lose the game. Win or lose, though, we had a great time and made lots of memories!

The view from our seats

OK, so I HAD to get a picture of the scoreboard while we were ahead!
